Worship Ministry

The Worship Ministry at Kingswood has many areas to get involved in.  Our philosophy is to allow people to explore and expand their giftings and talents in a safe environment.  If you have decided that Kingswood is your spiritual home, please pray about what areas of worship the Lord would have you volunteer in. 

Greeter Team – A smiling face, a warm handshake and a friendly greeting, make people feel welcome and provide quick information for guests.

Information Center – Men and women answering questions, giving directions and handing out information on the different ministries and activities of the church and community.

Ushers – This vital ministry includes the duties of seating people, handing out bulletins, handling crowd control, answering a multitude of questions, taking the offering, and helping during communion.

Music Team – Musicians and vocalists are also needed for the three very different services we have each week.  8:30 am Traditional, 10:50 am Contemporary, 7pm Youth - Wednesdays.

Technical Team – This team includes opportunities for Sound, Lighting and Power Point.  Tape reproduction also included, and a video/camera team will be needed in the future.

Research Team – Use your interest in movies and/or books to help provide clips or quotes for the service.  Possibilities are endless!

Sanctuary Care Team – These are the behind-the-scenes people who help set-up communion, decorate the worship space and narthex seasonally, and a myriad of other details in preparation for or cleanup after our services!
