In partnership with several area churches, we help provide 200+ lunches for the area’s homeless. We provide and deliver lunches the Fourth Sunday of the month.

Lunches or items to put in the sacks, are brought to the kitchen by the Third Sunday so that we will have time to count and put together more lunches if needed. There is no designated number of how many lunches an individual may bring.

A water (16oz) bottle is also handed with the sack lunch. Cases of water may be donated.

Here is the guideline for the sack lunches:

Everything in your lunch sack must be prepackaged – nothing can be made at home. No zip lock bags of food. Each lunch should include:

  • a pack of crackers, gold fish crackers, or chips;
  • cookies, granola bars or another sweet;
  • canned meat such as Vienna sausage (with a pop-top), tuna pouch, ready to go ravioli, or soup (please include a spoon);
  • Canned fruit (pop top can not the peel top);
  • Optional items include, small package of peanuts or other nuts
