PRE-wash verse:

PRE-wash consists of a concentrated soaking of the scripture, spotting of stains, scrubbing them clean to start a life cycle with JESUS. Our Children’s Ministry is for infants through fifth grade. At Kingswood we believe that children hold a special place in God’s heart and an important place within the Body of Christ. We think it’s important for kids to have the time and space they need to explore their faith in fun and active ways. We think family matters and that faith exploration should be an adventure the whole family dives into together!
It is the goal of the children's ministry team of Kingswood to provide a loving, safe and fun environment for children to come and learn about God. In all activities, we strive to teach children the Word of God, as well as provide spiritual guidance. The ultimate goal is to help children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to develop young disciples for Christ.

All volunteers in ministry to children or youth must be active members of the church and fill out an application and agree to a backgroud check before they will be allowed to participate in a leadership. Click below for documentation:

Children Sunday School PRE-wash
Nursery
Kingswood UMC offers nursery for infants thru four year olds. We have a well-trained and experienced nursery staff. Nursery is offered during both services and the Sunday school hour. In the nursery, young children will have time and room to play, interact with other children and enjoy a snack. We even have a short and age-appropriate Bible lesson for these little ones!

Pre-Soak
This class is for Preschoolers (three and four olds). Aleshia Blessen teaches this class (Ms. Aleshia). The children in this class divide their time between structured learning activities and supervised playtime. Your little ones will receive lots of love and attention and have a lot of fun while they’re learning all about how much God loves them.
Suds & Bubbles
This class is for Kindergarteners thru Second Graders. It is taught by Wanda Hayes and Mike Evans These inquisitive youngsters receive the structure they need while enjoying the freedom to ask questions and interact with other boys and girls in a hands-on learning environment.
Permanent Press
This class is for Third thru Fifth Graders. Rick & Esther Salmon teach this class. These older children have a ton of fun learning thru group activities and it’s at this age that they really begin to learn how to read and use their Bibles.
Children's Church
This is a Sunday morning worship service, utilizing music, story telling, skits, puppets, and Bible teaching for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children's Church meets directly after Sunday school in the Fellowship Hall at 10:50. Parents are welcome to come and sit in Children's Church if they would like. The first Sunday of the month the children do not have Children's Church and they are invited to attend the regular service with their families to promote family worship.
Children's Outreach Events
Our major children's events include Vacation Bible School, Summer Camping Program, Eater Outreach, and more.
